ETERNAL ENDINGS UPDATE: Yes, I'm still writing it. It's definitely taking much longer to write than I was originally expecting. I wasn't planning on writing anything past Reaching Retribution, so it's been a little harder to get back into the swing of things with these characters. I'm almost done though. I'm currently working on Incendia's story, but her story is going to be long and to get it right, I need to go back and reread Descending Darkness and Reaching Retribution. Since I need to reread those books, I decided to back and re-edit the entire series so I can finally create print copies of the Prophesized series as well.
If you've been following this blog for over a year, you probably saw my 2014 resolution. As we near the end of the year, many people start announcing their 2015 resolutions. I'm not going to do that this year, because I can't cross last year's resolution off yet. I'm still working on it and know I will be for a very long time.
If you've been following me for that long, I must thank you. I know I didn't get to publish as much as I wanted to this year. It was a looong year. As I sit here on his couch having a Doctor Who marathon for the fourth day in a row (thanks BBC America!), I can't help but look back on what this year has brought me. I got my first book published in physical copies. I now have print copies of Redeeming Lainey. That absolutely blows my mind. There are actual pages beneath the cover that has my name on it. That book was very emotional for me, and I know that not as many people have read it as the Prophesized series, but it, as well as that series, will forever hold a special place in my heart.
BlackMoon Beginnings has almost been out for two years (which always blows my mind). It's been downloaded over nearly 200K times, and is still being downloaded. I can't believe it. I'm still getting messages about that book from new readers. Thank you to everyone who has downloaded, read, rated, and told others about that series. I love you all. You're amazing, and I can't thank you enough for taking a chance on me.
This is going to sound cheesy, but sometimes I am so overcome with emotions when I think about my readers that I end up crying. All happy tears, I promise. I don't know what I would be doing if I didn't publish that book back in February of 2013, but I don't even want to think about that. I can't wait to see what the next year holds for me. I have at least three books planned, and hopefully I can actually get those out!
Because of the impending New Year, I've decided to do another giveaway. I do giveaways like this on my Facebook page from time to time, but I thought I would put this one up on my blog. It's for a signed copy of Redeeming Lainey + some Prophesized stickers and a few keychains.
