It's Teaser Tuesday. It took me forever to find something to tease for today. I actually have a lot of stuff written for this book. All the major scenes are done, but EVERYTHING seems to contain some sort of spoiler. It's going to be interesting to see how long I can keep up the teasers for this book.
Faith When Falling is a contemporary novel with a darker twist. I'm not going to go into more details about the characters or plotline until I finish with the first draft, but it is my goal to finish it within a week!

The pain spreads through my body as the fire gets closer. I try to shield myself from the fiery inferno and run away from the flames, but they follow my every move. The heat caresses my skin in a gentle touch that leaves me screaming out in pain. My legs crumble beneath me as the flames move up my body. I fall to the ground, engulfed with the burning brightness, and try to roll the flames away from my body. This only worsens my condition as the fire spread upwards.
I see nothing but flames all around me. I feel nothing but the burning sensation as the fire sears the flesh from my bones. I can no longer scream; my voice is completely dry and irritated from my constant yells. I curl into the fetal position, hoping that the end is near.
