It's Been a While...

Friday, December 14, 2012
I know that it's been a little while since I've posted anything. I apologize to anyone who actually reads this. I know that I have some family who are really curious about what I'm going through right now. This week has been really busy for me. Busy, I tell you. This week was my college finals week. I've had test after test after test. Let me tell you, studying for three tests in one day is not fun. Now, I know that so many other students were in the same situation as me, so I'm not the only one that can complain.
Despicable Me 2 Minions

That was me after all my exams. I was okay after the first couple exams, but my last couple ones...well my mind stopped. I had a lot of those what the heck is this? moments. I'm basically brain dead right now.

Seriously. Brain. Dead.

Today was my last day of finals week and I'm super excited now. I have three weeks off from classes. Three whole weeks. Do you know that the means???

Wait for it...

I can read and write now!! I have free time, which means catching up on all the books I've pushed back. I can finally read Incendiary by Amy. A. Bartol, Avow by Chelsea Fine, On Christmas Hill by Nichole Chase, and Independence by Shelly Crane (when it comes out in four days).

This also means that I have a lot of time to edit my first book and finish the fourth book. I'm planning on finishing my first round of edits this weekend. I've already contacted an English teacher from my high school and she's going read my story and help me edit.

*Deep breath*

This scares me to no end, but if I ever want to get this story published, I have to do it. I have to step out of my comfort zone and let others read it. I need honest opinions and criticism on ways to make it better.

I'll make sure to let you all know how that turns out.

Until next time!
