Since I'm currently in the middle of a "blizzard," I decided to spend my day editing and writing. I realize that I don't need to use the blizzard as an excuse because I probably would be doing this anyways.

I haven't heard back from my teacher yet, but I know that she has started it, so it shouldn't be long. I have heard back from my friend that I gave my book too. She seemed to really like it. For those of you who don't know me all that well, I'm not a super confident person. When I first started writing this book I thought about using a pseudonym, but then I thought better of it. It scares me the more people that I have read this book series, but with each positive feedback I get, I'm starting to become more confident in my work. Everyone has been so supportive and I'm starting to realize that all my fear has been for nothing.
Even if I don't become a 'successful' self-published author, I really like what I'm doing. I know I've mentioned that before, but it's true. I love writing. I even have a list of possible other stories that I want to work on. I know that nothing will happen right away. It's going to take a lot of patience and hard work.
Anyways, I'm re-editing books one through three again. Since I'm snowed it, I have nothing better to do. Editing is a long and tedious process. You not only have to edit the wording and grammar of the writing, but you have format it as well. It's so much fun. FUN, I tell you. I'm using this blog entry as my break. Then I'm going to finish reading through book three and work on book one of a separate series I'm writing.
Also, for Christmas I got some books. Yay! I got Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire in paperback. I saw on Goodreads that a lot of my favorite authors all gave this book really good reviews, so I decided to get it. Yes, I picked this book out before Christmas and had my mom wrap it and give it to me Christmas morning. My family is a little backwards when it comes to Christmas shopping. I also got Incendiary by Amy A. Bartol, who followed my blog (Ahhh!) and Elfin by Quinn Loftis on my kindle. I plan on reading those tonight.
Lastly, again I would just like to thank everyone who reads this. I can't tell you enough how much it means to me to have so many people who care. I haven't even published these books and so many of you haven't even read them, but I still feel the support. It's amazing. Just be patient a little longer! I'll realease the synopsis and cover soon. I'm hoping to start the publishing process within the next couple of weeks. Keep your fingers crossed!
Enjoy the rest of the holiday!
That's all I have for today. Until next time!
