If anyone follows me on Twitter, you know how much I am freaking out about this whole process. I know I have mentioned this a lot recently. I really want to get these books published, but it is still so strange to think that people actually want to read my books. I've gotten all of your messages and am seriously shocked that so many people have contacted me. I know that I've posted a lot of Twitter and Facebook posts about this whole writing process, but I honestly didn't think that anyone besides a few select individuals were actually paying attention.
I'm so thankful for all the support I've gotten during this writing process. During break, I have read through the first three books and edited them. I'm currently writing book four. I let one of my friends read my book series and now she and my mom are both threatening me to finish book four. Apparently, they don't appreciate my cliff hanger at the end of book three. I'm kind of scared for my life right now. They're lucky I love them otherwise I'd intentionally drag out this process just to make them mad. Haha :)
I still haven't heard back from my teacher yet. I told her to take her time while reading it, so I don't know when I'll hear back. I don't want to disrupt her winter break, so there is no rush there. You will all know when I hear back from her. I'm waiting for her response before I begin the whole publishing process.
As I'm getting closer and closer to publishing book one, I'm becoming a weird combination of scared and excited. I go through phases when I'm super excited that this is actually happening. Then, I have moments where I want nothing more than to crawl into a hole and hide from the world. It's kind of confusing right now.
Lastly, I'm going to conclude with a list on the books I'm most looking forward to in 2013. This list is in no particular order, because I'm equally excited for all of them.
I know that there are probably a ton that I missed, but those are a few of the ones I could think of off the top of my head. I can't wait for all the new book releases coming out next year. Maybe one day my book will be on someone's list...who knows.

| If I had enough hair, I'd definitely be doing this right now. |
I think that within the next few days, whether I hear back from my teacher or not, I'll post the cover and a brief synopsis for my book. I wanted to wait for her reply, but I want to get this book out before the end of break or at least start the publishing process within the next week or so. I'm not completely sure.
For anyone who is friends with me on Facebook or follows me on Twitter, you've probably seen this image. I posted it on both sites.
I added Amy A. Bartol to my Goodreads friends list and she wrote that message on my page. I got this message on Christmas and it just made my already good day even better. Amy A. Bartol is one of the many authors that inspired me to give self-publishing a shot. This just solidifies my decision to try my hand at self-publishing. All the authors are so supportive of each other and their fans.
1. Clockwork Princess (Infernal Devices #3) by Cassandra Clare.
3. Iniquity (The Premonition Series #5) by Amy. A. Bartol.
4. Untitled (Grey Wolves Series #6) by Quinn Loftis.
5. Smash Into You by Shelly Crane.
6. Untitled (On Dublin Street #2) by Samantha Young.
7. Tiger's Dream (Tiger's Curse Series) by Colleen Houck.
8. Jamb (The Cornerstone Series #3) by Misty Provencher.
9. Untitled (The Velesi Trilogy #3) by L. Filloon.
10. Suddenly Royal by Nichole Chase.

Random Thoughts For Tonight:
If
you would have told me at the beginning of this year that I would have
written three books and half of two other ones, I wouldn't have believed
you. In fact, I probably would have laughed in your face and forever
thought of you as crazy. I started writing in June and am now attempting
to publish my first book. Who knows what will happen next year. One
thing is for sure though...I can't wait to find out.
That's all I have for today. Until next time!
